Terms and Conditions:

The Program
Travel agents can earn reward points for bookings made with Tour East Holidays and redeem them for a wide selection of retailer Gift Cards  and Tour East Travel Certificates. At this time, only air-only bookings  and tours from the Journeys brochure  are eligible (made online or by phone).

Eligibility
Any travel agent working for an agency that has an active account with Tour East Holidays is eligible to register for the Tour East Points reward program. In order to accumulate points, you must first register. Go to www.toureastpoints.ca to enroll and you can start accumulating your reward points!


Expiry of points
All points accumulated in this program must be redeemed within 12 months from the date it was credited. Any points not redeemed within this period will expire and subtracted from the total points.

Eligible products
Only air-only and tour bookings  from the Journeys brochure  are eligible for reward points at this time. Special reward points may be awarded for periodic specials offered by Tour East Holidays. Please refer to our reward level chart and current promotions.

Applicable points are awarded for bookings made via Flyonline.ca booking engine, Call-Centre, PNR Transfer or B2B Sirev bookings. Note that not all fare types are eligible for points, please inquire at the time of booking.

Point value for claiming
Points are accumulated using the conversion ratio of 1000 points per $10.00
Example: If you earn 2500 points, you can claim a $25 value in gift cards.

Accumulation of points
Only travel agents enrolled in the Tour East Points program will be credited for the value of points as outlined in the reward chart, for bookings made online or by phone.

  • If you are booking online, you will be prompted to enter your unique Tour East Points Agent ID, during the booking process.
  • If you are booking by phone, our reservation agents will require your Member ID or E-mail address  registered to your Tour East Points account to be able to credit the points accordingly. Remember, this e-mail address must match your online account profile!
  • Points will be posted to the travel agent's account within 2 business days of receiving final payment for a file. In the case of cancellations or refunds, the awarded points will automatically be reversed in the agent's account as a negative amount.
  • Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash and are not transferable.
  • Tour East Points must be redeemed by the travel agent for whom they were issued.
  • Tour East Points are non-transferable and cannot be pooled between travel agents. Use of one person's name for the purpose of pooling will render the Tour East points null and void. An agency cannot earn Tour East Points.

Account inquiries
Access to your Tour East Points online account is protected by your password. Our reservation agents will not be able to access any information related to your Tour East Points account. Only the Tour East Points Reward department will be able to assist you.

At any time, you may access your account and make the following transactions:

  • Access your account balance
  • Redeem points online for gift cards,  and travel certificates
  • Modify your profile (password, e-mail address)
  • Access current promotions

Should you change your agency affiliation, all of the accumulated points will be transferred to the same account under the new agency. Your account moves with you! It is your responsibility to modify and update your profile as soon as possible.

Travel agents who wish to report discrepancies found in their Tour East Points online statement may do so by e-mail to rewards@toureast.com within 30 days of the date that the transaction was posted to their account or by calling us at 1-877-578-8888

Redeeming Tour East Points

All points must be redeemed online. Points can exchanged towards a wide selection retailer gift cards,  or travel certificates for personal travel. Take your pick!

Gift Cards
If you wish to exchange your points towards gift certificates, a minimum of 2500 points must be used (excluding delivery charges if applicable).
For all retailers, only gift cards in $25 and $50 denominations are available.
Tour East Holidays will process all exchange requests within 5 business days. If Tour East Holidays is unable to deliver the selected retailer gift certificates (out of stock) within the normal delivery period, the Tour East Points department will notify you immediately for alternative selection.


Travel Certificates
Travel certificates may only be used towards any travel service or product available through Tour East Holidays.
Travel certificates may only be used towards personal travel for air-only bookings (conditions apply*), familiarization trips, special travel agent rates or tours, offered by Tour East Holidays.
Travel arrangements must be booked by calling our reservation agents.
Travel certificates will be e-mailed to you to the e-mail address registered to your online account and are valid for one year from the date of issue. Any unused certificates within the validity period will be null and void.
For air only bookings, value of travel certificates must be sufficient to cover the cost of the ticket. Partial or split payments are not permitted by our airline partners, as such some fees may apply. Please inquire when booking.

Shipping
We want to ensure that your well-earned rewards arrive safely and in good order. All gift card orders will be sent via Expresspost by Canada Post, which guarantees next day or delivery within 4-5 business days. Insurance coverage of up to $100 is included and shipping can be tracked. Selected rewards will be sent to the mailing address indicated on your profile, unless otherwise indicated. Delivery fees will apply and must be paid for with points (500 points).
If regular delivery is requested by the travel agent (Regular Mail, ICS etc.), Tour East Holidays cannot be held responsible for any lost shipments and will not accept any claims.
Members can also pick-up the cards personally at our Reception Desk, during regular business hours.

Disclaimer & Responsibility
Tour East Holidays cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions on the part of the retailers where gift cards are concerned. Tour East Holidays limits its responsibility to providing gift cards with respect to the value ordered by the travel agent. Tour East Holidays will not be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen gift cards and under no circumstances will accept any type of claim.

The listed merchants are in no way affiliated with (Tour East Holidays), nor are the listed merchants considered sponsors or co-sponsors of this program. Use of merchant names and/or logos is by permission of each respective merchant and all trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Terms and conditions are applied to gift cards/certificates. Please see the merchant's gift card/certificate/website for additional terms and conditions, which are subject to change at merchant's sole discretion, if permitted by law.

Circumstances beyond our control
Tour East Holidays cannot be held responsible by the travel agent should the Tour East Points Program be terminated, or for any type of default or delay in the processing or exchanging of points if the termination, default or delay is the result of circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to a fire, war or work conflict.

Acceptance of all conditions by the travel agent
By submitting the online order form to redeem your points, the travel agent accepts all terms and conditions of the Tour East Points Program.

Non-conformity to this agreement as well as any type of infraction, fraud or abuse with regards to the Tour East Points Program may result in the removal of points and or the suspension of the travel agent's account with no possibility of any type of compensation if deemed appropriate and necessary by Tour East Holidays.

Tour East Holidays reserve the right to change any of the rules, regulations and conditions of the Tour East Points Program without notice and may also terminate the program without notice.

Fiscal Responsibility
Revenue Canada as well as all Provincial Tax bodies impose a fiscal responsibility to declare all forms of revenue. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the rules and laws that govern each province & territory and conform to them accordingly. Tour East Holidays absolve itself of any type of responsibility in the event that participation in the Tour East Points Program results in any type of fiscal consequence.
